Matthew DeCaro brings a deep commitment to service and healing.. Born and raised in Los Angeles County in a U.S. Marine Corps veteran family, Matt spent nearly a decade serving as a police officer and detective with two departments in the area. In 2022, he relocated to Texas with his family, where he continues his work in public service. His frontline experience has given him a profound understanding of trauma and its lasting impact.
Driven by a passion for mental health and helping individuals navigate their healing journey, Matt earned his Master of Social Work from Liberty University in May 2025, graduating summa cum laude. Matt was also accepted into the Liberty University PhD in Health Sciences – Trauma Informed Care Program, with a start date in 2026.
Matt is dedicated to supporting clients as they work through trauma, build resilience, and reclaim their lives.
