EMDR Trained

I became a marriage and family therapist after raising three children with my husband of nearly 30 years, navigating the joys and challenges of family life across decades of change. I take a systemic approach to therapy, viewing each client within the context of their relationships, environment, and lived experience. My goal is to create a space where healing feels personalized, compassionate, and empowering. Trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions affect people from all walks of life—and because we all live in relationship with others, building resilience, communication skills, and confidence benefits everyone. The veteran community holds a special place in my heart: I grew up in a military family, then my husband chose to serve, and now I watch my sons continue that legacy of service. For over five years, I’ve worked closely with the veteran community, supporting them and their families as they navigate the emotional and relational complexities that often accompany military life.

My training includes:

EMDR

TF-CBT

CBCT-PTSD

TGCT-A

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2)
